Q Can I sign a contract anyways to lock in my rate?
A Yes you can. Most corporations request contracts to be for a specific length of time for annual budgeting purposes. We can easily accommodate each company with a contact length they would feel comfortable with.
The Evergreen law, passed in October 2004, says customers must be given ample notification (15-60 days) that their contracts are about to be renewed, and that customers have the right to cancel contracts within that time frame, according the Attorney General. We will give advanced notice of any customers or companies under contract with PTS.
Q How much do you charge to switch my alarm to your company?
A If we can reprogram your system, there is no charge
to switch you over and there is never a connection fee. We will also inspect
all points of protection for proper operation.

Q How long have you been in business?
A PTS was incorporated in 1999. However, there is not a technician with PTS that has no less than 25 years experience in the alarm industry. As our business grows, we will be hiring new apprentices, but they will be under the constant care and supervision of a licensed technician at all times.

$21.00 per month for residencial and small commercial systems. Panic, low temp, high water and fire is all inclusive. No extra charge!
$25.00 for two way voice systems and verified audio.
$29.00 for Medical Alert monitoring, complete with medication and past medical history information passed on to first responders.
$42.00 for Commercial fire systems with duel phone line monitoring.
$48.00 for Commercial Open and Closing Reports. This is available on line 24/7 if you needed immediate information. No extra charge for this service.
$15.00 Digital Radio Backup additional per month.
$19.00 GPS Tracking for personal and small commercial company vehicles.
$16.00 GPS Tracking for 3 or more vehicles.
$29.00 GPS Tracking for Commercial advanced tracking accounts.
$26.00 GPS Tracking for Commercial advanced tracking for 3 or more vehicles.
$18.50 is offered for discounts on multiple accounts. Your residencial alarm system is reduced if we monitor your home and business

Q What are your service rates?
A $65.00 per hour. Our valued seniors do get a discount.
Q Why
are the rates lower in comparison to other companies?
A Because PTS
is a home based business. We do not have high operation expenses as other
companies. We don’t have a high advertising budget to pay for.
The savings are passed along to the customer.

Q What kind of certification is required for
performing these services?
A The state of Connecticut
requires anyone performing alarm installations or service must possess a limited or unlimited Journeyman’s license or contractor’s license, or be listed in the
apprentice program under the supervision of a licensed technician.

Q Is your company licensed?
A

Q How long do you warrantee a new system?
A We warranty new systems for two full years, one year beyond manufactors'.
Q Do you have referrals?
A Yes. You can actually call our customers and hear
their testimony first hand. There is a referral program for our customers as well.
Q My neighbor has an alarm system that goes off for no reason a few times a year. Is this normal?
A The answer to this question is a resounding,
unequivocal, NO. Some people are so
accustomed to their system going off arbitrarily, they don’t question it. But
the fact is, a properly installed and maintained system should never, ever,
false alarm. A gust of wind or a power outage is not the basis of the problem. It
is only the trigger of a malfunction. Any number of possibilities, like a low
battery or a bad contact, can be the contributing factor. Certainly no weather
or power anomalies can be the cause.
Q What kind of maintenance programs do you
have?
A $95.00 Annual Home Inspection fee (Silver Service Plan).
$18.95/month for full warranty, parts and labor for the life of your home system (Gold Service Plan).
Commecial accounts are quoted per basis.
